XYZ-Wing
Advanced Removes candidates Used in: Sudoku, Killer Sudoku
A stronger Y-Wing where the pivot itself carries three candidates {X,Y,Z} and the two pincers are {X,Z} and {Y,Z}. The digit Z is forced out of any cell that sees all three of the wing cells.
How to spot it
A three-candidate pivot {X,Y,Z} with pincers {X,Z} and {Y,Z}.
What you can conclude
Eliminate Z from any cell that sees all three wing cells.
Worked example
Pivot {1,2,3} with pincers {1,3} and {2,3}: a cell that sees all three wing cells cannot be 3.
