Which puzzle should you play?
Sudoku, Killer, Kakuro, Calcudoku, or Futoshiki? A quick guide to what each plays like and who it suits.
Classic Sudoku — the timeless one
Pure placement logic, no arithmetic. The best starting point and the most relaxing to play.
Killer Sudoku — Sudoku with sums
Adds cage totals and a layer of arithmetic. Great if you like Sudoku but want more bite.
Kakuro — a crossword of numbers
Fill runs that add to clues, 1–9 with no repeats. It feels like a number crossword and rewards combination-lovers.
Calcudoku — pick your operation
A Latin-square grid where cages use +, −, ×, or ÷. Endlessly variable and great mental arithmetic.
Futoshiki — follow the signs
A smaller grid governed by greater-than and less-than signs. Quick, elegant, and a nice change of pace.
